When My Kid Steals My Camera

Hummmmmmmm!

Fumbly Bumbly Angels

For most Christians, Christmas programs are a tradition during the holidays. Here are some pictures of my kids in our program at church.

What a great "Christmassy" evening!

This scene stole the show. These kids were hilarious. These were the "Fumbly, Bumbly Angels" that could never seem to do anything right. They tried everything to get into the angel choir; but they always got stuck mending angel clothes. Later in the program, they end up completing the best task ever announcing the birth of our Savior. They totally type cast these kids....toooo awesome.

This scene was great. They were trying to get into the angel choir and lets just say they hit a few very wrong (well a lot), hopefully never sung again notes! Ouch! But it was really funny! Announcing the birth of Jesus!

The whole crew! They did a great job! Best Christmas program at our church yet!

Sweet Sisters, they are soooo angelic! No sarcasm here!

Angel BFF's

(Yes, I know it doesn't make sense to make that plural but that is how they say it)

Ooo and look at my handsome little man...he is so hard to grab a picture of and here is being a cute stinker.

A Madrigal Dinner for the Holidays

Tonight, John and I went to the High School Madrigal Dinner. It was a great time of entertainment, laughter and music. We really had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Hey, I enjoy any kind of food that I don't have to cook myself.

I was introduced to a Madrigal dinner a long time ago in Petoskey, MI. My dear friend Jenilee (sorry I stole your picture there on the left) was in Madrigals and John and I went to one of the dinners. I loved the whole event. So needless to say when I heard about the dinner here I was very excited.
They sang one of my favorites.....
Riu riu chiu, la guarda ribera;
Dios guardo el lobo de nuestra cordera,
Dios guardo el lobo de neustra cordera.
El lobo rabioso la quiso morder,
Mas Dios poderoso la supo defender;
Quisola hazer que no pudiese pecar,
Ni aun original esta Virgen no tuviera.
Riu, riu chiu...Este qu'es nacido es el gran monarca,
Christo patriarca de carne vestido;
Hemos redemido con se hazer chiquito,
Aunqu'era infinito, finito se hiziera.
Riu, riu chiu

And the Jester ( a student we know) asked before the event if my hubby wouldn't mind being apart of the program for a bit. So I sold him to the Jester during the program for some cheese (which I didn't get). Which I did yell out, "Hey where is my cheese!" and then he was given to the Queen Mother for a gift, literally. Hahahahahah the whole thing was very funny and of course my Hubby played the part well. Ha! What a good sport. I think they picked him because they knew he would play along. He got to then sit with the Queen mother for a bit until she realized he was married. She then sent him away! (He is sitting to the right of her in the second picture)

The singing was great and so Christmassy...I loved every minute of it!
