Verses 1-32 are pretty intense. There is so much going on in these verses regarding God's people the Jews and the Gentiles. God is always trying to redeem His people all we need to do is have faith in Him...the message remains simple.
I love the illustration of a root and branches Paul uses it to help us understand how we are "grafted" into the family of God.
Grafted: a bud, shoot, or scion of a plant inserted in a groove, slit, or the like in a stem or stock of another plant in which it continues to grow.
We are so blessed to be a part of His family when we have a relationship with Christ. We are grafted in by faith. However we must remember that we all can be cut off it we choose to no longer follow Christ. God loves us so much just like He loves His chosen people the Jews.

Redemption is God's heart. Redemption comes when we believe that Christ died for us. Grace is for all of us and it is freely given. There is nothing we can do to earn God's grace. I like this verse....
The Jews have a choice to accept this gift just like we do. Someday the nation of Israel will be restored to God. Today, you can be restored...have faith and you can be a part of the family of God.
6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

Be grafted into the family of God today and....
GET JOY!
